Are you struggling to generate leads, market your business effectively, or make sales? If you want to generate reliable recurring revenue in your business, you need to have some funnel setup.

I want to share a story with you about a client that I’ve worked with. When I brought up the word “funnels,” it was like, “I don’t want to have funnels, I don’t want to have an email list.”

She really felt like she wanted to be true to herself and her own brand, and didn’t want to add more clutter to people’s lives or more things to deal with. And so, she felt very against having a funnel.

Many entrepreneurs often feel confused and unsure about what a funnel actually is and how it can help their business. If you’re a business owner selling something or making money, you already have a funnel for your business.

In this blog, we’re going to discuss three funnels which you might not have yet, to help you scale to multi-seven figures.

If you’re struggling to generate leads, market your business effectively, and make sales, then it’s time to start thinking about business funnels. Funnels are simply a series of steps that guide potential customers or leads towards a conversion.

Every business needs three essential funnels to succeed: the lead generation funnel, the marketing funnel, and the sales funnel.

Lead Generation Funnel Mastery: How to Capture High-Quality Prospects!

Let’s talk about the lead generation funnel, which can be a freebie that you offer to someone. This could be a PDF, an Ebook, a form they fill out, or even a short video.

You want to have different ways for people to opt into your business. It’s also good to have a newsletter sign-up. However, in addition to that, you want to provide something of high value for free, so people are willing to exchange their email address with you.

We all value our email addresses nowadays, and we know that if we sign up for something, we’re going to enter a marketing funnel and receive emails. Therefore, it’s essential to ensure that our freebie content or lead magnets are of high value.

In your lead generation funnel, you should set it up so that after people sign up, they are taken to another page that provides more information and gives them the resource.

Additionally, it should send the resource to their email, so they can open it and receive it. This trains your leads on the behavior you want from them in your business, so when you send them future emails, they will look forward to opening them.

“Remember, each step in the funnel is an opportunity to build a relationship with your potential customers.”

Marketing Funnel: Skyrocket Your Conversions & Boost Your Sales!

The second funnel you need to have to reach multi-seven figures is a marketing funnel. If you’ve captured a potential customer’s contact information, it’s time to start building a relationship with them through a marketing funnel.

I always recommend a business has long-form content, such as a blog or a podcast, which you can recreate as a video, like I’m doing right here. You should also use this content to create a blog post on your website that you can optimize for SEO.

Then use the content you’re creating to email your list regularly with valuable information. And if you believe your content is highly valuable for your leads, then surely the people who have signed up and given you their email address in the lead generation funnel will want to hear more from you. That’s where the marketing funnel comes in. It really supports the business if you start to create nurture content.

“Marketing is no longer about the stuff you make, but about the stories you tell.” – Seth Godin

Additionally, learn from your audience’s behavior, such as which emails they like to open the most, what type or style of subject lines get the most opens, and which topics encourage people to click through the email and consume the content. Use that information to help guide your nurture sequence in your marketing funnel.

If you don’t have a marketing funnel set up yet, it might feel overwhelming at first. The easiest way to start is by drafting emails once, twice, or three times a week for your list about topics you talk about and the blog or podcast content you create.

Sales Funnel Success: Turn Prospects into Profit!

The third funnel you need to have in your business to reach multi-seven figures is the sales funnel. This is crucial, just like the lead generation and marketing funnels.

If you’re a coach or consultant, your sales funnel might involve getting on a call with you as part of the process. You want to set up your funnel to be as supportive as possible.

I spoke to a client yesterday about this topic, and she mentioned that many people weren’t showing up for scheduled calls. We discussed her funnel, and it turned out she didn’t have automatic reminders or text reminders for appointment times. These are essential elements to ensure people show up for their appointments.

In your sales funnel, you’ll guide potential customers towards making a purchase. If you have a quiz or webinar in your business, you should have a sales funnel that sends a series of emails inviting people to join your program or sign up for your product.

It’s crucial to cycle people through your sales funnel repeatedly (but not obnoxiously) on the back end of your business. People signed up for your list for a reason, and if they like your content, they’ll stay. If they don’t, they’ll unsubscribe, and that’s okay.

For those who are interested, you want to continue offering the solution to their biggest problem with your product or program. That’s why having a sales funnel is essential.

“Funnels help you guide potential customers through a journey towards a conversion.”
